Duncan Borrowman slams Conservative election leaflet lies about Queen Mary's

Con leaflet: the Con election leaflet which tries to con people out of their votes by lieing about Queen Mary's

Duncan Borrowman, the Liberal Democrat Parliamentary candidate for Old Bexley & Sidcup and council candidate for Cray Meadows ward has said that claims in an election leaflet being distributed by the Conservatives are "lies of the worst possible kind to win votes".

The leaflet says: "The only Party campaigning to save services at Queen Mary's Hospital is the Conservative Party."

Duncan Borrowman says: "We have consistently campaigned against the cuts. In fact Simon Hughes MP, our London Mayoral candidate Brian Paddick, our Orpington Parliamentary Candidate David McBride, our Bromley & Chislehurst Parliamentary Candidate Sam Webber and myself all marched alongside the Conservatives in March 2008.

"This is yet another example of the shameful old two faced politics that the British people are sick of."
